Overview

The 2022 Latinx Student Leadership Summit (LSLS), sponsored by Google in partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and the Computing Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institutions (CAHSI), will gather students from across the US and Puerto Rico for a half day virtual summit. Now in its sixth year, this summit was created as an effort to bring Latinx leaders together to share innovative and creative best practices with one another, as well as collaborate with Google’s Latinx leadership to benefit students’ universities, organizations, and communities.

Given the effects of Covid-19, our team adapted the previously in-person summit into a three-part virtual experience for the third year in a row. Acceptance to the 2022 Latinx Student Leadership Summit also includes access to the Google Buddy program, where you will be paired in small groups of other selected applicants with tech and non tech Googlers, personalized resume reviews, access to a social discord community/events, and more!

2022 Summit Goals

  • Google Readiness: Provide technical workshops to equip participants with the tools and resources to make them technically prepared for tech & tech+ Google roles.
  • Leadership Development: Help students identify and utilize their unique “Latinx leadership” to foster community within their families, student organizations, and local universities.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at lsls2022@google.com.
