Overview

The LCS Sales Associate Program provides the opportunity for you to learn sales, leadership and problem solving skills as you work alongside Google sales teams. As an Account Manager Associate, you’ll develop communication, sales and project management skills. Analytical Lead Associates develop communication and analytical problem solving skills. After 2+ rotations, associates can apply for Account Manager, Analytical Lead roles or other positions at Google.

Program

Tracks

Account Manager Associates:

  • AM Associates serve as interim account managers and rotate across Google advertising sales teams in the US. This rotational role provides exposure to a variety of industries and clients.
  • Account Manager Associates sit in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, and Playa Vista.
  • AM Associates collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and agency partners to develop and execute advertising campaigns and strategies.

Analytical Lead Associates:

  • AL Associates serve as interim analytical leads and rotate across Google advertising sales teams in the US. This rotational role provides exposure to a variety of industries and clients.
  • Analytical Lead Associates sit in Chicago.
  • Analytical Lead Associates support a sales team to help customers achieve business goals. They collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and agency partners to develop data-driven recommendations.

Growth and Development

  • Associates have a team of mentors, peers, and advisors to help them learn and grow in the role. Most associates have 3-4 mentors (a mix of peers and managers) who coach associates through day-to-day challenges and provide support.

Qualities of a Sales Associate

Qualifications for Account Manager Associate

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in sales, digital marketing or digital advertising.
  • Ability to work towards strategic goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience working with Google Ads.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.

Qualifications for Analytical Lead Associate

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in analytical field
  • Ability to work towards strategic goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, especially with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Analytical problem solving
  • Data manipulation skills using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, SQL or equivalent
