The Cloud Technical Residency (CTR) and Cloud Sales Academy (CSA) are full time rotational programs in Google’s fastest growing business — Cloud.
As a part of these Google Cloud Residency Programs, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work in different Google Cloud roles under the direct mentorship of experienced Cloud Googlers. The project rotations include opportunities to work with partners, engage in technical solution validation, develop scalable tools, demos and related assets, and provide implementation, advisory and support services to Google customers across a wide spectrum of industry and scale. Before you start project rotations you’ll undergo training to prepare you to add value on day one of your customer engagements.
Our classroom-style training is designed to develop technical fundamentals, communication, and leadership skills. You’ll learn from some of the best in the business and participate in project-based learning with your cohort.
Role rotations provide you with the on-the-job training where you’ll work on a range of projects, such as building tools to automate and scale business processes, coming up with different Google products to create custom solutions, and providing data driven insights to Google’s internal sales and product teams.

The Cloud Residency programs give you the unique opportunity to experience different roles within our Cloud business. You'll rotate through roles that are customer-facing, and you’ll gain exposure to the whole customer lifecycle - sales, services, and support. Cloud is a dynamic business and the program evolves along with our Cloud organizations.
